Crypto,
as a procedure.
I don't call coins. I find patterns and write them down. Evaluate it, time it, exit it, and secure it, on a plan instead of a feeling.
Evaluate a coin before you buy it
- The 7-Step Scorecard. Score any coin from 0 to 70 before you buy, so the decision stops being a feeling.
- The Exchange Tier System. How coins climb from Tier 4 to Tier 1 exchanges, and what that progression tells you.
Understand the cycle you are in
- The Halving Roadmap. Halving cycles mapped through 2033, so you know which phase of the cycle you are in.
- The 80/20 Framework. How the portfolio is structured across infrastructure coins, blue chips and speculative plays.
Exit on a plan, not a feeling
- The 3-Phase Exit. A written exit, planned before you enter, so you never need to call the top.
- Built for people who held through a top once and do not want to repeat it.
Security sits under everything else
- Security That Holds. Cold storage, 2FA and seed-phrase discipline, under everything else.
- Wallet approvals get their own procedure: see Detail A below.
NOTE 1 — Educational content only. Not financial advice. Cryptocurrency is volatile and you can lose your entire investment.

You didn't get hacked. You signed it away.
A wallet can be drained without ever being hacked. The owner approved it, once, months ago, on a site they have long since forgotten. Here is one approval, traced from signature to drain.
- T + 0
You click Approve.
Most apps request the maximum possible amount, so you only pay gas once. That covers every token of that type you will ever hold at that address.
- T + 1 minute
You disconnect the site.
Disconnecting only ends the session in your browser. The approval stays on-chain, and it stays live.
- T + months
Nothing expires.
An approval survives closing the browser, moving to a new device, and years of inactivity.
- T + ?
The drain.
The permission went to code, not a company. If that contract has a flaw, or its keys are compromised later, your approval is what gets used.
The Approval Audit
A procedure, not an article. About 30 minutes, start to finish.
- The six places permissions hide, including ones revoke tools do not show
- How to read an approval prompt before you sign it: four checks, fifteen seconds
- Revoking step by step on each major network the Audit covers
- A fillable 10-minute quarterly re-check, plus triage if an address is already compromised
Audit buyers receive a code for $27 off The DByrd Method after checkout.
NOTE 1 — Educational content only. Not financial advice. Security practices reduce exposure; they do not eliminate it.
